Beck Coombs is the author of Sincerely, Miss Independence: A Rory Bennett Novel (Rory Bennett Novel Series Book 1). Beck spent much of her career in sales, corporate training and development before trading conference rooms for community storytelling as the owner and acting editor of three local magazines. Along the way, she wrote lifestyle and editorial pieces, interviewed plenty of interesting people, and discovered that she was happiest when she was telling stories.
Now retired and living in Northwest Arkansas, Beck writes women’s fiction filled with humor, heart, complicated families, second chances, and women figuring out who they are when life refuses to follow the plan.
She is also the author of the children’s series The Amazing Ways of Audrey Paige, published under another name.
When she is not writing, Beck can usually be found with her family, planning her next trip, laughing at something inappropriate, or reaching for a Diet Coke.
Sincerely, Miss Independence is her first novel.

Praise
I loved Rory. She’s funny, sarcastic, stubborn, and feels like a real woman rather than a perfect character. The book has plenty of emotional moments, but the humor and family dynamics keep it from feeling too heavy.
I laughed, got angry for her, and definitely teared up. By the end, I was completely invested in seeing Rory find her footing and figure out what independence really looks like for her.
