Praise

I loved Rory. She’s funny, sarcastic, stubborn, and feels like a real woman rather than a perfect character. The book has plenty of emotional moments, but the humor and family dynamics keep it from feeling too heavy.

I laughed, got angry for her, and definitely teared up. By the end, I was completely invested in seeing Rory find her footing and figure out what independence really looks like for her.
